Job summary

Dematic Beech Island, SC is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 2 to handle day-to-day troubleshooting and preventive/predictive maintenance of Material Handling Equipment (MHE). The role is full-time, 7:00am–3:00pm, Monday–Friday, with overtime and occasional weekend work.

In this role you will repair and maintain MHE, perform belt tracking and lubrication, complete preventive routines with proper documentation, and create/close work orders in the asset management system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational-technical training preferred.
• Lift/move material up to 50 pounds; overhead work possible.
• Frequent bending, lifting, and reaching above/below waist.
• Occasional push/pull of dollies up to 100 pounds.
• Good dexterity in both hands and wrists.
• Able to climb ladders and gangways safely.
• Work may include dust, fumes, heat/cold, noise, and uneven surfaces.
• Must stand/walk 10–12 hours; shifts/holidays may vary.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot conveyance problems and resolve faults.

Typically, vocational-technical training is preferred.Able to lift and move material up to 50 pounds each.Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.Occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds.Have functional dexterity in both hands and wrists.Able to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation.Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold temperatures, inside/outside noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long hours , and wet or uneven surfaces.Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10–12 hours.Flexibility in covering multiple shifts and holiday hours as required . #In-post
