Qualifications

• Maintenance experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic machinery and lubrication.
• Ability to read basic diagrams and schematics.
• Willingness to cross-train in other technical areas.
• Own basic maintenance tools and use of common shop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Observe equipment in operation and locate trouble causes.
• Dismantle devices to access defective parts and replace them.
• Inspect parts for wear and dimensional changes.
• Adjust and test functional parts and instruments.
• Repair or replace faulty components and install new parts.
• Lubricate and clean machinery; perform startup tests.
• Set up and operate metalworking tools for parts fabrication.
• Move and lift heavy equipment with mechanical aids.
• Follow safety PPE requirements and maintain clean work areas.
