Job summary

International Paper is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Greeneville, TN plant. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and fabricating hydraulic and electrical systems, as well as programming PLCs. The position operates on a Sunday–Wednesday night shift with 10-hour shifts and potential overtime.

Candidates should be proficient with Windows-based tools, SAP, and maintenance databases. Safety and adherence to plant codes are essential in this remote work environment.

Qualifications

Ability to read maintenance work orders and follow written instructions.
Capable of basic math functions and using a calculator.
Ability to isolate mechanical, pneumatic/hydraulic, and electrical problems and repair them.

Responsibilities

Identify, troubleshoot, repair, and fabricate hydraulic machines and systems.
Identify, troubleshoot, repair, and fabricate electrical systems and motor controls.
Fabricate with metal and repair metal structures; use welding and torch.
Program, troubleshoot, install, and repair PLC computers and systems.
Train operators or supervisors on proper machine maintenance and inspection.
