Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to safely maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plant equipment to support continuous production operations. The role emphasizes VFD/PLC troubleshooting, reading wiring schematics, and adherence to safety policies.

Responsibilities include tooling changeovers, routine and emergency maintenance, on-call support, and mentoring team members while driving continuous improvement in an industrial plant environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as Electrical Maintenance Technician.
• Strong knowledge of VFDs and PLCs.
• Ability to read wiring schematics and blueprints.
• Experience in industrial plant maintenance and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Safely maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plant equipment and systems.
• Monitor extrusion tooling changeovers for efficient production.
• Perform routine and emergency electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and maintain VFDs and PLCs.
• Ensure safety standards and company policies are followed.
• Collaborate with supervisors to prioritize work and coordinate repairs.
• Document maintenance activities and recommendations.
• Respond to on-call emergencies and restore operations.
• Support safety initiatives and mentoring of team members.
• Assist with continuous improvement and tooling reliability.
