Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex PCB designs.
• Foundational understanding of analog, digital, and power electronics.
• Proficiency with electronic CAD tools (Altium Designer strongly preferred).
• Familiarity with circuit simulation tools (LTSpice or equivalent).
• Experience with standard lab test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, DMMs).
• Familiarity with CAN, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, USB interfaces and common MCU/CPU architectures.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to full-cycle PCB design for high-reliability defense hardware with guidance from senior engineers.
• Support circuits for safety-critical aerospace and defense applications, including power electronics and motor drivers.
• Perform design analysis tasks such as worst-case analysis, thermal analysis, DFMEA, and derating.
• Execute board bring-ups and support testing through ground and flight tests.
• Develop system interconnect diagrams and wire harness definitions for vehicle integration.
• Collaborate with mechanical, thermal, software, systems, quality and manufacturing teams.
• Participate in peer-level and cross-discipline design reviews.
• Support root cause and failure analyses from ground tests and field operations.
• Assist with vendor surveys and component evaluations.
