MVP Air Conditioning, Heating, Plumbing & Electrical is seeking an Electrical Manager/Master Electrician to lead residential electrical operations, ensure NEC compliance, and drive safety and quality across projects. You will mentor electricians, manage project scopes, and coordinate schedules while maintaining exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Current Master Electrician license required.
• 7–10 years of electrical experience with supervisory or management responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee residential electrical operations, ensuring safe, efficient work to standards.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to electricians and apprentices.
• Ensure all work complies with NEC, local regulations, and safety policies.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and provide expert-level diagnostics and solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage residential electrical operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and support to electricians, apprentices, and field personnel.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC), local regulations, and company safety policies.
• Perform inspections, troubleshoot complex electrical issues, and provide expert-level diagnostics and solutions.
• Plan, coordinate, and schedule electrical service, repair, installation, and maintenance projects.
• Review and approve estimates, proposals, and project scopes for repairs, upgrades, and new installations.
• Manage installation and service of electrical panels, breakers, lighting systems, outlets, switches, generators, EV chargers, surge protection, and other electrical equipment.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure workmanship meets company and regulatory standards.
• Support recruiting, training, performance management, and development of electrical team members.
• Monitor inventory, tools, equipment, and material usage to ensure operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, service records, permits, and compliance reports.
• Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, inspectors, and team members regarding project status, recommendations, and completed work.
• Participate in ongoing industry, manufacturer, and company training programs.
• Assist with department planning, budgeting, and strategic growth initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and climb for extended periods.
• Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, elevated locations, and varying weather conditions as needed.
• Manual dexterity and physical stamina required to inspect, troubleshoot, and perform electrical work when necessary.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, testing devices, and other electrical equipment.
• Ability to travel to job sites and perform field inspections as required.

Qualifications:

• Current Master Electrician license required.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of electrical experience, with demonstrated supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), local building codes, and electrical safety regulations.
• Proven experience managing residential and light commercial electrical service, repair, troubleshooting, and installation operations.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Excellent project management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience estimating, budgeting, and managing project profitability preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Proficiency with service management software, field reporting systems, and Microsoft Office applications preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
