Job summary

Amteck, a national electrical design-build contractor, is hiring Electrical Maintenance Technicians to maintain and repair electrical systems in industrial settings. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and tests in accordance with NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards, ensuring uptime and safety.

The role emphasizes safety, accurate documentation, and teamwork with customers and employees. Field training and on-site safety programs support ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in an industrial electrical maintenance setting.
• Knowledge of NEC, OSHA, NFPA 70E rules and regulations.
• Ability to travel up to 100% and work in industrial environments.
• Ability to read construction documents and schematics.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Commitment to safety and zero-tolerance for unsafe practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and testing of electrical systems in line with NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards.
• Conduct infrared thermography to detect faults and heat signatures.
• Inspect electrical components, wiring, and connections for wear or damage.
• Service electrical equipment to ensure reliability, safety, and uptime.
• Document inspections, test results, and corrective actions.
• Communicate with customers, supervisors, and team members about equipment condition.
• Enforce company safety programs and site safety requirements.
