Job summary

Amteck is hiring an Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of electrical systems in industrial environments. The role emphasizes NFPA 70B/NETA standards, arc-flash safety, and precise documentation to support uptime and safety.

Candidates should have 5+ years of industrial electrical experience, strong knowledge of NEC/OSHA safety, and proficiency with diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

Ideally 5+ years of experience in an industrial electrical maintenance setting.
Strong understanding of electrical theory, power distribution, and industrial installations.
Ability to develop and execute preventive maintenance strategies aligned with standards.
Extensive knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, and OSHA safety practices.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B and standards.
Conduct infrared thermography to identify faults and heat anomalies.
Inspect components, wiring, and connections for wear or damage.
Lubricate and service equipment to ensure longevity and performance.
Test power distribution, controls, and motors to verify function.
Maintain documentation of inspections and corrective actions.
Apply LOTO and arc-flash safety procedures in daily work.
Communicate findings to customers, supervisors, and team members.
Participate in safety program and site safety requirements.
