Job summary

Seaboard Foods is seeking a maintenance technician to support the production department in Guymon, OK. You will perform routine maintenance on plant equipment, including bearing replacements, oil/lube, and minor troubleshooting.

You will use precision tools such as torque wrenches, dial indicators, calipers, and micrometers to inspect and repair machinery, and you will work overhead on ladders or scaffolding as required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of department layout and location of switches, valves, and controls.
• Basic knowledge of tool usage.
• Ability to perform minor maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Comfort working at heights on ladders or scaffolding.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Dismantle, identify, repair, and reassemble machinery in a timely manner.
• Use precision instruments such as torque wrenches, dial indicators, calipers and micrometers as required.
• Take daily instructions from supervisor and perform duties with minimal supervision.
