Job summary

Seaboard Foods in Guymon seeks an Automation Support Specialist to maintain and improve automated and robotic production systems. You will troubleshoot, install, test, and support engineers on control systems and tooling on designated shifts.

The role requires a two-year technical degree and hands-on experience with electrical/mechanical systems, with English proficiency and ability to read blueprints. Travel and after-hours work may be involved.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Ability to think critically and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in verbal and written English; ability to interpret blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot automatic and robotic systems using knowledge of microprocessors, programmable controllers, electronics, circuit analysis, mechanics, and sensors.
• Perform preventive or corrective maintenance on automatic and robotic systems or components.
• Assist engineers in design, installation, configuration, or application of robotic systems.
• Train robots using AI software or interactive training techniques for iterative testing of tasks.
• Manufacture, install, program, or repair programmable controllers, robot controllers, devices, systems, and end-of-arm tools or conveyors.
• Analyze data trends for reports to guide decision-making under guidance.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Communicate and collaborate with management to ensure automated equipment operates efficiently.
