Job summary

Seaboard Foods in Guymon, OK is seeking a maintenance technician responsible for supporting the machinery in our production department. You will locate switches, valves, and controls, perform routine lubrication, bearings replacement, and light troubleshooting as part of daily tasks.

The role requires working overhead on ladders or scaffolding, bending and stooping as needed, and accurately using torque wrenches, dial indicators, calipers, and micrometers.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of switches, valves, and controls location throughout the department.
• Basic knowledge of tool usage.
• Ability to perform minor maintenance tasks (bearing replacement, oil/lube).
• Work overhead on ladders or scaffolding in high areas.
• Ability to stoop or bend to work below knee level.
• Ability to follow supervisor instructions with minimal supervision.
• Experience with precision instruments (torque wrenches, dial indicators, calipers, micrometers).
• Ability to dismantle and repair machinery in a timely manner.
