Job summary

Seaboard Foods in Guymon, OK is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician to support design, installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical and control systems on a designated shift. You will troubleshoot across electrical, instrumentation, automation, and control domains to keep production reliable and compliant with safety standards.

The role requires strong ability to read schematics and diagrams, perform preventive maintenance, and assist engineers with projects.

Qualifications

Associate degree or two-year technical degree in Electrical Engineering Technology with relevant experience.
Four years of relevant experience in electrical/electronic/automation or industrial systems.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
Proficient in English (spoken and written) and able to interpret blueprints.
Ability to use electrical test and diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, instrumentation, control, and automated systems.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on distribution, motor control, and automation components.
Assist engineers with design, installation, testing, and modification of electrical/control systems.
Configure and test HMIs, VFDs, safety systems, and PLCs.
Assemble, install, wire, calibrate, and repair electrical panels and related equipment.
Verify compliance with codes, standards, and company specs.
