Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Hope Hull, AL seeks an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to support a high-speed distillery and beverage production facility. You will diagnose, repair, and optimize electrical, controls, and electromechanical systems to keep lines running.

The role requires strong PLC and VFD troubleshooting, adherence to safety and 5S, and collaboration with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment and safety best practices.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems, control circuits, motors, VFDs, PLCs, and instrumentation.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on plant equipment.
• Support production by responding to breakdowns and minimizing downtime.
• Assist with installation, commissioning, startup, and validation of new equipment and projects.
• Document work orders and maintenance history in SAP/CMMS and similar systems.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and participate in continuous improvement.
