Job summary

Lamb Weston, Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to perform routine equipment maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, and assist in continuous improvement efforts at our New Jersey facility.

The role involves installing, starting up, repairing, and overhauling electrical systems, reading blueprints, and ensuring safe operation in a high-noise, cold and wet environment. Key responsibilities include evaluating specifications, conducting preventive maintenance, and applying problem-solving

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical theory and its application.
• Knowledge of safety procedures for live circuits.
• Knowledge of electrical construction and maintenance practices.
• Ability to analyze electrical and mechanical problems and repair plans.
• Ability to communicate technical information.
• Experience with electrical testing devices and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Install and modify electrical equipment per installation instructions.
• Perform equipment start-ups, repairs, and overhauls.
• Read blueprints and specifications to determine installation procedures.
• Test equipment to diagnose malfunctions using test equipment or software.
• Operate equipment to demonstrate use and analyze malfunctions.
• Perform preventive maintenance to detect and prevent problems.
• Repair or replace worn parts in electrical equipment.
• Read engineering plans and technical documents.
• Troubleshoot and determine actions to remedy problems.
