Qualifications

• Two years of journeyman level electrical experience.
• Four years of food processing maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of electrical theory and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Install and modify electrical equipment per instructions.
• Perform equipment start-ups, repairs and overhauls.
• Study blueprints, schematics, manuals, or other specifications to determine installation procedures.
• Test faulty equipment to diagnose malfunctions using test equipment and knowledge of electrical systems.
• Operate equipment to demonstrate proper use or to analyze malfunctions.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to detect and prevent problems.
• Repair or adjust equipment, machines, or components and replace worn parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering specs, and project plans.
• Troubleshoot and solve problems; assist in continuous improvement.
