Job summary

Lamb Weston, Inc. is seeking an electrical maintenance professional in Boardman, Oregon, to perform routine equipment maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires skilled interpretation of blueprints and schematics and hands-on work with live electrical systems. Responsibilities include installation, start-ups, repairs, preventive maintenance, and problem diagnosis with cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical theory and its application.
• Knowledge of safety procedures applicable to live circuits.
• Knowledge of electrical construction and maintenance practices and procedures.
• Two years of journeyman level electrical experience.
• Four years of food processing maintenance experience.
• Equipment Maintenance – performing maintenance and determining needs.
• Trouble Shooting – determine causes and remedy.
• Read blueprints and engineering specifications.

Responsibilities

• Install and modify new and existing mechanical electrical equipment per installation instructions.
• Perform equipment start-ups, repairs and overhauls.
• Study blueprints, schematics, manuals or specs to determine procedures.
• Test faulty equipment to diagnose malfunctions using test equipment.
• Operate equipment to demonstrate proper use or analyze malfunctions.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to detect and prevent problems.
• Repair or adjust equipment, replacing worn parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, project plans and technical documents.
