Job summary

Lamb Weston, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to monitor and keep processing equipment in optimal condition, ensuring continuous line flow to meet customer demands. You’ll perform routine preventative maintenance, repairs, and support operations with a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, line checks, welding as needed, and CMMS documentation. Strong English communication and ability to follow instructions are essential in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• Experience performing maintenance in a manufacturing environment, specifically food processing highly preferred.
• Effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing. Ability to understand instructions and follow directions in English, both written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance work, repair, and adjustment of equipment; changes and replaces belts, pulleys, sprockets, bearings, chains, motors, and general maintenance on other specialty equipment specific to processing.
• Performs and documents line checks and preventative maintenance, including lubrication and inspection of equipment to prevent or identify failures.
• Understands and can explain the purpose and operation of all equipment in the processing area and makes decisions on appropriate troubleshooting and repair of equipment as situations warrant.
• Performs structurally sound welds using appropriate equipment as needed.
• Updates CMMS with status and details of work order results daily.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
