Job summary

Lamb Weston, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on plant equipment and facilities. You will conduct inspections, troubleshoot and repair to prevent breakdowns, using hand and power tools and test meters.

The role requires strong electrical troubleshooting, instrumentation knowledge, and the ability to work with a team, often including overtime or off-shift as needed. Proficiency with SAP and safety certifications is preferred.

Qualifications

• Understanding of instrumentation and equipment.
• Understanding of motor controls.
• Capable to be on shift with minimal supervision.
• Basic understanding in testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits.
• Have formal training or experience in mechanics, electricity, electrical schematics.
• Maintain electrical equipment to meet regulatory codes.
• Able to use computer efficiently for keeping records, email.
• Possess and demonstrate competency in troubleshooting and correcting electrical issues.
• Proficient understanding of instrumentation installation.
• Be capable of reading schematics, wiring panels, and fabricating replacement equipment.
• Perform installation and maintenance work as part of a team of skilled trade workers.
• Proficient in testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits.
• Proficient knowledge to troubleshoot and program PLC’s with no supervision.
• Knowledge of NEC codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities or on machines and equipment.
• Conduct inspections to determine repair needs to prevent breakdowns.
• Use hand/power tools and test meters; test, inspect, troubleshoot and repair machines.
