Job summary

UNCLE JOHN'S PRIDE, LLC in Tampa, FL is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our meat processing facility. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated production machinery and facility electrical systems, ensuring safety and SQF compliance in a cold, wet environment.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, documenting work in the CMMS, and collaborating with production staff to resolve issues.

Qualifications

Industrial maintenance experience in a meat processing or high-speed setting.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and schematics.
Ability to work in cold/wet environments and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair electrical/electronic systems on high-speed packaging and processing equipment.
Preventative Maintenance (PM): Perform routine inspections and servicing to prevent downtime, including motor replacements and sensor calibration.
PLC & Controls: Troubleshoot, program, and maintain Allen-Bradley PLCs, VFDs, and control circuits.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to Lockout/Tagout, NEC codes, and OSHA regulations.
Documentation: Document maintenance work, parts usage, and repairs in a CMMS.
Collaboration: Work with production staff to resolve issues and communicate repairs.
