Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking an Electrical/Control Technician to maintain and enhance machinery used in food manufacturing. You will document electrical/control systems, diagnose issues with mechanics, and coordinate Electro-Mechanics across shifts to keep production running smoothly.

The role requires reading drawings (P&ID, wiring diagrams), PLC knowledge, and adherence to GMP and safety standards. Occasional offsite support and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• AS/AAS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with electrical/control system installation and documentation.
• Experience reading electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control system drawings.
• Knowledge of PLCs and preventive maintenance software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain documentation for electrical and control systems.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical or control issues with mechanics.
• Coordinate Electro-Mechanics across shifts and provide training.
• Perform preventive, scheduled, or corrective maintenance on systems including networks, drives, pneumatics, hydraulics.
• Ensure GMP, safety standards, and quality controls are followed.
• Keep accurate maintenance records and work orders.
• Travel for parts procurement or training as needed.
