Job summary

Seneca Foods Corporation in Mayville, WI, is seeking an Electrician to join our plant team. The Electrician performs electrical maintenance, installation and fabrication to keep equipment running safely and efficiently in a food processing environment.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting PLCs, controllers, lighting, and motors; ensuring compliance with GMP, electrical codes and OSHA rules, and planning installations to minimize waste.

Qualifications

• Must have good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong electrical and maintenance skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally; team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all electrical maintenance, repair, and fabrication.
• Maintains, installs, rebuilds, and repairs equipment per specifications.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, PLC's, controllers, lighting controls, and electrical motors.
• Maintains cost control for equipment and supplies for budget.
• Stay current on electrical codes and OSHA regulations.
• Plan new or modified installations to minimize waste of materials.
• Ensure GMPs and safety rules followed and enforced.
• Other duties as assigned
