Job summary

Foster Poultry Farms in Demopolis, Alabama, is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift to design, install, maintain, and troubleshoot plant instrumentation and PLC systems. You will work with supervisors and processing teams to ensure safe, reliable operations, perform preventative maintenance, repair equipment, and help uphold the company’s safety and quality standards.

Candidates should have a minimum of three years in an industrial electrical role, pass background

Qualifications

Must have a minimum of three years on-the-job experience in industrial electrical field.
Ability to read and understand safety procedures and follow them.
HS diploma or equivalent and basic math skills.
Must pass background check, drug screen, and E-verify.
Experience with PLCs and instrumentation preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, install, maintain, and troubleshoot plant instrumentation and control devices.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment and perform preventative maintenance.
Work with supervisors and processing teams to ensure safe, reliable operations.
Operate and maintain electrical/electronic test equipment and keep accurate records.
