Job summary

Foster Poultry Farms is seeking an Electronic Technician to design, install, maintain and troubleshoot plant instrumentation and control devices, including PLC programming. The role partners with supervisors and processing teams to ensure safe, reliable operations and high-quality products.

Candidate must have HS diploma or equivalent, 3+ years in industrial electrical work, and strong English reading/writing skills.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or equivalent and 3+ years industrial electrical experience.
• Ability to read/write English and perform basic math with accuracy.
• Proven leadership, teamwork, and safe work habits in a processing environment.
• Ability to operate and maintain PLCs, sensors and instrumentation.
• Experience with electrical/test equipment, wiring schematics, and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, maintain, and troubleshoot plant instrumentation and control devices.
• Program and support PLCs to ensure accurate processing operations.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repair on equipment as needed.
• Lead safety practices and ensure compliance with PPE requirements.
• Collaborate with supervisors and processing teams to achieve quality products.
