Job summary

The metals manufacturing company in Cleveland, OH seeks a Shift Manager Electrical Maintenance to lead day-to-day electrical maintenance in the assigned area. The role emphasizes reliability, safety, and continuous improvement while supervising Electrical Maintenance Employees (MTE).

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in electrical maintenance within heavy industry or military, with strong PLC and automation knowledge. Expect weekend/shift work and opportunities for extra compensation.

Qualifications

HS Diploma, GED or equivalent from an accredited school.
2 yrs. electrical maintenance experience in heavy manufacturing or military.
Ability to work in hot, dusty environments and outdoors in all weather.
Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

Manage maintenance of electrical equipment and supervise Electrical Maintenance Employees.
Develop maintenance expertise for electrical and automation systems in assigned area.
Coach employees and ensure tooling and safety knowledge.
Manage budget using project management skills for maintenance activities.
Interact with Purchasing, Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams.
Develop a maintenance strategy to ensure high equipment reliability.
Weekends and shift work may be required with extra compensation.
Other duties as assigned.
