Job summary
Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. in Middletown, OH seeks a Shift Manager Electrical Maintenance & Control to lead a team of Electronic Repairmen and drive maintenance reliability. You will troubleshoot electrical systems, develop fixes, and coordinate outages and upgrades to keep operations running smoothly.
The role requires supervision experience, a background in control systems/PLCs, and availability for after-hours support in a 24/7 facility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field preferred.
- 3 years of control systems and PLC experience preferred.
- Willingness to support a 24/7 operating environment, including nights and weekends.
- Experience supervising electronic technicians.
- Experience with Rockwell ControlLogix or Siemens PLC Series 5/7 is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Supervises 5-20 Electronic Repairmen for preventive and maintenance services.
- Lead system troubleshooting, determine root causes and implement solutions.
- Provide after-hours troubleshooting support to electrical technicians.
- Maintain and improve electrical documentation.
- Develop long/short-term plans for equipment improvements.
- Plan outages and upgrades; assist service providers and contractors.
- Communicate problems and solutions to Operations and EM&C managers.
