Electrical Automation Services in Ohio is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment in a food manufacturing environment. You will work on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, reading schematics and PLC programs to diagnose faults and keep lines running.

The role requires 3+ years of hands-on experience, with night shifts and on-site work in Hiram, OH, and a strong emphasis on safety and quality practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of electrical systems, motor controls, VFDs and sensors.
• Ability to read schematics; PLC troubleshooting required; PLC programming a plus.
• Welding experience is a plus and safety practices are essential.

Responsabilités

• Respond to production equipment issues and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems.
• Repair and maintain production machinery, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics to support troubleshooting and repairs.
• Independently troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, including PLC I/O diagnostics and ladder logic.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep accurate maintenance records.
• Identify recurring problems and help develop lasting fixes.
• Request parts and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Follow plant safety procedures and food manufacturing quality practices.
