Job summary

The AES Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Electrical Planner in Indianapolis, IN to develop work plans and procure resources for maintenance, outages, and projects at a generating station. You will apply work management best practices and use CMMS/EAP, purchasing and financial software to meet process requirements.

Five years of generating station electrical maintenance experience is preferred, along with strong planning, estimating, and communication skills. SAP/EAP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of generating station electrical maintenance experience.
• Strong work management and planning experience.
• Experience with SAP, EAP and scheduling software preferred.
• Ability to develop job steps and secure required permits (LOTO, hot work, confined space).
• Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop work plans and procure resources for maintenance, outages, and projects.
• Apply CMMS/EAP, purchasing and financial tools to meet process requirements.
• Lead work request review meetings and communicate across plant departments.
• Review maintenance histories to drive improvements and productivity.
• Prepare routine maintenance reports and information for resource-loaded schedules.
