Job summary

Waupaca Foundry, Inc. seeks an Assistant Maintenance Manager (Electrical) to oversee installation, repair, and upkeep across the plant.

You will ensure skilled trades have the resources to work within budget and stay compliant with health, safety, and environmental regulations. The role requires a solid grasp of electrical/mechanical systems, reporting and budgeting, and the ability to manage weekend coverage and on-call support for plant issues.

Qualifications

• Two-year certificate or associate degree and five years supervisory experience in maintenance.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; payroll records (AS400) and SAP requisitions.
• Familiarity with Siemens software (TIA Portal, Simatic), 505 Workshop, AutoCAD, Inventor, and other Autodesk products.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise hourly mechanics, electricians, and laborers to keep plant equipment in good repair.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and problems are recognized.
• Maintain Plant Maintenance Notifications and PM schedules with accurate reporting.
• Develop areas of responsibility including preventive maintenance and spare parts.
• Coordinate with outside contractors, vendors, and service providers.
