Job summary

Waupaca Foundry is seeking an Electromechanical Service Technician to own the health of the electrical infrastructure and the performance of production machinery. You will diagnose, install, and document improvements, while prioritizing safety and reliability on the shop floor.

You will collaborate with maintenance teams to shorten downtime, enhance preventative maintenance, and ensure accurate equipment records. A strong background in electrical tasks and a detail-driven approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in electrical maintenance or a closely related field.
• Fluent with electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Demonstrated mechanical troubleshooting capability.
• Experience executing electrical installation and maintenance tasks.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and machine inspection practices.
• Industry certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Use schematics to pinpoint issues fast and implement durable fixes.
• Diagnose and correct mechanical problems that affect electrical performance.
• Install and upgrade electrical systems to support new equipment and improvements.
• Perform in-depth electrical troubleshooting on plant machinery and controls.
