Job summary

The role requires a solid grasp of mechanical and electrical systems, plus knowledge of plumbing, carpentry and other trades. Weekend work and on-call support are expected.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in a maintenance department.
• Experience planning maintenance operations and budgets.
• Solid understanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulics and pneumatics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance procedures.
• Inspect plant and equipment, identify issues and resolve them.
• Plan, oversee repairs and installations, manage workload.
• Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate with contractors.
• Monitor expenses and maintain safety and environmental compliance.
• Lead weekly inter-departmental meetings and annual evaluations.
