Job summary

Eversource Energy in the United States is seeking a Field Supervisor-Lines to oversee underground and overhead electric distribution work, supervise crews, manage equipment, and ensure work is done on schedule and within budget.

The role requires at least three years as a Line-worker I (RG 34.5), a Class A CDL with Special Trailer Endorsement, and the ability to climb poles; travel between MA/CT/NH and occasional overtime are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent plus experience to RG 34.5 Line-worker I.
• Minimum of three years as a Line-worker I; supervisory experience preferred.
• Commercial Driver's license Class A with Special Trailer Endorsement and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Supervises line crew(s) involved in installation, maintenance and repairs of the distribution system.
• Oversees equipment, materials, and records including time sheets and tailboard docs.
• Trains and mentors Line-workers to ensure safety rules and procedures are followed.
• Evaluates performance and initiates corrective action as needed.
• Coordinates and schedules work assignments; conducts tailboards and inspections.
• Ensures work is completed on time, on schedule, and within budget.
• Provides first response to off-hour emergencies and coordinates staffing.
• Accepts standby duty and temporary responsibilities during absences.
• Travels between MA/CT/NH as necessary; works overtime when required.
