Job summary

Eversource is seeking an Overhead Hot Stick Troubleshooter based in Massachusetts. The role involves field work on energized and de-energized lines, performing maintenance and repair of overhead, pad-mounted, and occasionally underground equipment to ensure service continuity.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years as a Journeyman Overhead Lineman, a valid CDL Class B, and a strong safety record. The position is on-site with varied hours and emergency响应 responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical aptitude and be analytical with a strong safety record.
• Valuable to have a thorough knowledge of electric transmission and distribution systems.
• Ability to work outdoors in all seasons and under safety protocols.
• Experience as a Journeyman Overhead Lineman is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate fault locating equipment on overhead/URD systems and assist on underground when needed.
• Clear faulty conditions and restore electrical service under emergency or urgent conditions.
• Install/repair primary lines, transformers, jumpers, and related equipment to maintain service continuity.
• Perform field inspections and respond to emergency restorations as required.
