Ormat Technologies, Inc. is seeking Electrical, Instrumentation & Control Technicians at Technician I–III levels to support power plants across the US. The role involves installing, testing, maintaining and repairing electrical equipment, PLCs, RTUs, SCADA and HMI systems, with adherence to NEC/NFPA safety standards.

The position requires 3–4 years in power generation or similar industries, reading schematics, and willingness to travel extensively, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Requires 3–4 years of experience in power generation or similar process industries.
• Ability to read process control documentation and electrical schematics.
• Must understand and apply safety, NEC, NFPA, and environmental guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Observe and follow environmental and safety rules per ORMAT and OSHA.
• Install, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment across LV, MV, HV systems.
• Operate PLCs, RTUs, VFDs and SCADA/HMI systems; read vendor data and procedures.
• Plan maintenance activities and create/modify reports for electrical systems.
• Travel extensively to other locations and be available for weekends, holidays and overtime.
