Job summary

Per Sé Group is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Technician for a contract assignment at a major power generation facility near Las Vegas, Nevada. The role focuses on installing, calibrating, testing, and maintaining instrumentation and control systems in a demanding industrial plant environment.

You will read P&IDs and electrical diagrams, use meters and scopes, follow LOTO procedures, and collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to keep critical equipment

Qualifications

• 5+ years of instrumentation maintenance experience in a power generation environment.
• Experience troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining industrial instrumentation and control systems.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and logic diagrams.
• Experience using instrumentation testing and calibration equipment.
• Knowledge of industrial control systems, DCS platforms, and associated instrumentation.
• Strong understanding of LOTO, electrical safety, and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation and control systems.
• Read and interpret P&IDs, wiring and electrical diagrams.
• Use diagnostic tools like multimeters, oscilloscopes, loop calibrators to identify issues.
• Support safe maintenance through LOTO procedures.
• Complete work orders and calibration records; maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and other technical personnel.
