Job summary

Ormat Technologies, Inc. is seeking skilled technicians across EI&C levels to perform installation, calibration, testing, and maintenance of electrical and control systems at our power plant sites. You will interpret electrical schematics, read process documentation, and support PLC/RTU/SCADA operations.

Travel and weekend work are required according to project needs. Candidates should have 3+ years in power generation or similar industries, with escalation paths for Technician 2/3 and

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience in the power generation or similar process industries.
• EI&C Technician 2: Five (5) years in power generation or similar processes.
• EI&C Technician 3: Seven (7) years in power generation or similar processes.
• Able to read process control documentation such as process flow diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Ability to methodically troubleshoot electrical and control systems.
• Must communicate and read/write to perform duties safely and efficiently.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Observe and enforce safety procedures.
• Install, program, inspect, test, and maintain electrical equipment.
• Read and use electrical schematics and vendor data.
• Plan and schedule maintenance activities.
• Create and modify reports on electrical systems.
• Travel to other locations; work weekends/holidays.
• Operate PLCs, RTUs, SCADA, and HMI in EI&C roles.
• Coach junior technicians when assigned as Technician 2/3.
