Job summary

Pratt Industries, Inc. is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to install, service, troubleshoot and maintain the mill’s electrical and instrumentation systems. The role requires hands-on work with PLCs, DCS, motors, and pneumatic controls.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of relevant education/experience, strong safety focus, and the ability to read P&ID diagrams. This salaried role offers overtime eligibility and career growth opportunities within Pratt’s powered facilities.

Qualifications

• 2- to 4-year degree preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered.
• Experience with PLCs, DCS, motors, transmitters and pneumatic controls.
• Ability to read technical manuals and diagrams (P&ID, wiring)

Responsibilities

• Install, service and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic problems on process equipment.
• Interpret diagrams and read schematics to ensure proper installations.
• Operate safely with lockout/tagout and PPE compliance.
