Job summary

Pilgrim's is seeking an Instrumentation & Electrical Specialist 1-4 to troubleshoot electrical systems and support control systems across the plant. You will assist in maintaining electrical equipment, instituting new control strategies, and pursuing improvements in electrical processes.

The role requires industrial electrical experience, strong schematic reading, and PLC troubleshooting skills, with certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Industrial electrical experience with extensive schematic reading capability and PLC coding/troubleshooting.
• Electrical certifications including technical college/manufacturer certs (e.g., Allen Bradley, Square D).
• Preferable 3–5 years documented experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical systems throughout the plant.
• Help maintain electrical equipment through PM procedures.
• Assist in instituting new control systems.
• Research and develop better controls and electrical processes.
• Track and monitor recurring problems and provide solutions.
• Identify weaknesses in equipment related to electrical systems and develop solutions.
• Train operators and maintenance technicians on operations and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Assist maintenance personnel in maintaining an efficient production operation and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
