Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking an Instrumentation & Electrical Specialist to troubleshoot electrical systems across the plant, support PMs, and assist in implementing new control systems. The role requires strong electrical experience, extensive schematic reading, and PLC troubleshooting, plus relevant certifications (Allen Bradley, Square D).

The position is progressionary with a plan to reach level 3 within 18 months, and candidates will undergo standard safety and background checks.

Qualifications

• The selection process includes a panel interview and hands-on testing.
• This is a progressive role; level 3 must be reached within 18 months.
• Background, drug and alcohol checks are performed for all new hires.
• Employment eligibility verification is required by day three.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical systems throughout the plant.
• Maintain electrical equipment via PM procedures.
• Assist in implementing new control systems.
• Research and develop better electrical controls and processes.
• Track recurring problems and provide corrective solutions.
• Identify weaknesses in electrical systems and develop fixes.
• Train operators and technicians on equipment operation and troubleshooting.
• Support maintenance staff to keep production efficient.
