Georgia-Pacific's Rincon, GA facility seeks an Advanced Technician in the Converting department. You will work with Manufacturing Engineers, Reliability Technicians and the product system team to support reliability strategies and operator training.

The role emphasizes learning and applying equipment operation theory, performing machine inspections, preventative maintenance, and supporting shutdown planning. Shifts are rotating 12-hour with days/nights and overtime.

Formación

• Two or more years of reliability technician experience in converting operations or two or more years of general mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• PSQ Authorized on Converting Assets
• Experience using SAP to initiate repairs and document reliability opportunities

Responsabilidades

• Proactively identify hazards and mitigate risk
• Adhere to high standards for quality and product safety
• Troubleshoot equipment and processes across the converting assets making repairs and adjustments
• Apply knowledge and expertise while conducting machine inspections, lube routes, planned work, and preventative maintenance work orders
• Assist with maintaining a/c filters and case conveyor systems
• Provide feedback for shutdown planning and assist with execution of that work
• Assist with equipment changeovers
• Apply knowledge of GP mechanical reliability standards
