Georgia-Pacific's Rincon, GA site is hiring Electrical and Instrumentation Technicians for a 24/7 operation on a rotating 12-hour schedule. The role focuses on preventative and corrective maintenance to maximize uptime and meet quality goals.

Qualifications

Two-year technical degree or certificate or 3+ years of industrial electrical/instrumentation experience.
Experience installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating electrical components.
Knowledge of variable frequency drives and servo drives (preferred).

Responsabilités

Share knowledge with other technicians for maintaining and troubleshooting PLCs, instrumentation, and controls.
Troubleshoot and install equipment at the component level, ensuring compliance with state, company plant codes, policies, and procedures.
Work on motors, pneumatic components, conveyor systems and production machines.
Participate in project planning support and new equipment installation.
