Job summary

Hargrove is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and deliver electrical/instrumentation engineering projects. You will perform calculations, draft drawings, and coordinate with multi-discipline teams to ensure design integrity and on-time delivery.

The role requires 3+ years of relevant industrial experience, a degree in Electrical Engineering, and solid knowledge of NEC codes. On-site start-up support and collaboration with vendors will be part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and application of the NEC code (current version).
• Ability to size wire, conduit and overcurrent protection for lighting and power.
• Ability to perform voltage drop calculations.
• Proficient with CAD drafting standards and software (AutoCAD/MicroStation).
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Design and draft electrical/instrumentation engineering assignments under supervision.
• Produce design calculations and sketches for construction materials.
• Coordinate with design leaders to ensure timely project completion.
• Provide on-site assistance during startup and fieldwork data collection.
• Review vendor drawings and submittals for conformance to drawings and specs.
