Job summary

Hargrove & Associates Inc. is seeking an electrical engineer to design and support instrumentation projects. You will work under supervision on both small and large engineering tasks, applying NEC knowledge and CAD standards.

The role requires collaboration with design leaders, performing calculations, and producing construction drawings and material takeoffs for procurement and execution. On-site field support and startup assistance are included.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and application of the NEC code and standards.
• Ability to perform lighting level calculations and conduit sizing.
• Ability to develop electrical installation documents from vendor drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication for design coordination.
• Familiarity with CAD drafting standards and project workflows.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete electrical/instrumentation designs under supervision.
• Produce design calculations, sketches, and material takeoffs.
• Review vendor drawings for conformance to drawings and specs.
• Provide field support and gather data during installation/startup.
• Assist drafting to produce constructible drawings and packages.
