Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical Engineer to support the design, maintenance, and continuous improvement of electrical and instrumentation systems within a specialty chemicals manufacturing environment.

This role will drive process optimization and automation initiatives while ensuring safe, reliable plant operations in Pasadena, TX. A bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Chemical Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience are expected.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience supporting instrumentation and electrical systems in chemical or industrial manufacturing environments.
Hands-on experience with DCS platforms (Yokogawa preferred; DeltaV, Honeywell, ABB a plus).
Strong knowledge of process control strategies and ability to diagnose issues.
Solid understanding of PSM principles (PHA, MOC, RAGAGEP).

Responsibilities

Design, maintain, and improve electrical and instrumentation systems in a chemical manufacturing setting.
Support process optimization and automation initiatives to improve plant reliability and safety.
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment and process issues to reduce downtime.
