Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer in Pasadena, TX, to design, maintain, and optimize electrical and instrumentation systems within a chemical manufacturing environment. The role focuses on safety, reliability, and process improvement, with strong emphasis on DCS platforms.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Chemical Engineering, and hands-on DCS knowledge (Yokogawa preferred;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Chemical Engineering.
• 5+ years in instrumentation and electrical systems in chemical/industrial manufacturing.
• Hands-on DCS experience; Yokogawa preferred; DeltaV/Honeywell/ABB a plus.
• Strong knowledge of process control strategies (discrete, continuous, sequential, loop tuning, adaptive, feed-forward).
• Proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment and process issues.
• Solid understanding of PSM principles, including PHA, MOC, and RAGAGEP standards.
