Job summary

Hargrove Engineers + Constructors in the United States seeks an Electrical and Instrumentation Drafter to perform routine design tasks on less complex projects, under close supervision. You will draft installation details, MCC single-lines, room layouts, cable schedules, grounding and instrumentation plans, ensuring alignment with scope and design criteria.

Responsibilities include on-site startup support, adapting drawings to field changes, and applying NEC and CAD drafting standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Engineering Technology or CAD preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant drafting and design experience.
• Familiar with NEC and design standards.

Responsibilities

• Draft installation details, MCC single lines, and control panel layouts.
• Prepare lighting, power, and instrumentation plans.
• Assist on-site startup and communicate design changes promptly.
• Review project scope, specifications and design criteria with the team.
