Northeastern Technical College seeks an instructor to teach, develop materials, advise students, and assist college administration through committees and activities. The role includes classroom and lab instruction, development of course materials, and active student support.
The position requires an associate degree with industrial experience; a bachelor’s in Technology, Education, or Management is preferred. Local travel to partner campuses and sites is expected.
To serve as instructor for the College, including duties of teaching, developing materials, advising students, and providing assistance to the administration through committees and other activities.
Minimum Requirements: Associate Degree in Manufacturing Technology, Mechatronics Mechanical or Electrical, Vocational Education and/or related fields with industrial experience. Drivers license required. NETC Preferred: Bachelor Degree in Technology, Education, or Management. Knowledge of principles and procedures pertaining to higher education.

Knowledge of college mission, goals and objectives and ability to relate these to areas of responsibility. Ability to supervise and coordinate the activities of a professional level staff; establish good working relationships with alumni, businesses, students, faculty and others. Ability to interpret and apply all related laws. Demonstration of teaching abilities. Prefer certification in NIMS or Manufacturing Certification and/or willingness to obtain certification.
The teaching environment includes classroom and lab, requiring local travel to business/industry and community campuses and some short term travel may be required for professional meetings. Professional Development may require some overnight stays. Teaching locations include partner High Schools, State, Federal and Juvenile Correction facilities, community campuses, and industry partners.
