Job summary

Northeastern Technical College seeks an instructor to teach, develop materials, advise students, and assist college administration through committees and activities. The role includes classroom and lab instruction, development of course materials, and active student support.

The position requires an associate degree with industrial experience; a bachelor’s in Technology, Education, or Management is preferred. Local travel to partner campuses and sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Manufacturing Technology, Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electrical with industrial experience.
• Driver's license required.
• Knowledge of higher education principles and procedures.
• NIMS or Manufacturing Certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Present course materials through multi-modal instructional strategies and laboratories.
• Develop, revise and maintain current instructional materials aligned to course objectives.
• Advise students and support personal and professional development.
• Effective use of office hours and professional student advising for completion.
• Participate in college activities and promote NETC through service.
• Pursue activities to develop professional skills and maintain job proficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
