Job summary

Northeastern Technical College (NETC) is seeking a full-time instructor to teach courses in manufacturing tech, develop materials, advise students, and support college committees. The role includes classroom and lab work, multi-modal instruction, and travel to partner schools and industry sites.

You will maintain labs, prepare reports, supervise student progress, and participate in professional development and college activities as part of NETC’s mission to advance technical education.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Manufacturing Technology, Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electrical or related field with industrial experience.
• Driver's license required.
• Knowledge of higher education principles and procedures.
• Ability to supervise professional staff and coordinate activities.
• Willingness to obtain NIMS or Manufacturing Certification.

Responsibilities

• Teach in classroom and lab using multi-modal instructional strategies.
• Develop, revise and maintain instructional materials and labs.
• Advise students and assist in their personal and professional development.
• Use office hours for student advising and ensure course completion.
• Participate in college activities and professional development.
