Job summary

Convergint seeks a Project Specialist in San Antonio to install, program, test, repair, and service security, fire alarm and life-safety systems with minimal guidance.

You will work closely with customers and colleagues, provide technical installation support and training, and help ensure safety and quality on site. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel occasionally are required.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or equivalent experience.
• Experience installing and wiring access control, network cameras, door hardware, panel installation and wiring.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Strong customer focus and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, repair, and service security, fire life safety, and building automation systems.
• Provide technical installation support and training for customers.
• Work with project leads and maintain safety and quality standards.
• Travel occasionally.
