Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Electrical Installer to install, program, test, repair, and service security, fire alarm, and life-safety systems. You will work with customers and colleagues, providing technical installation support and training as part of a collaborative team that values growth and integrity.

You will interpret manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams, using test instruments and hand tools, while partnering with project leads to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience installing and wiring access control, network cameras, door hardware, panel installation & wiring, and programming of door and camera additions.
• Solid construction skills and understanding of system plans.
• Solid understanding of blueprints, design drawings and wiring methods.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings and use standard tools.
• Strong customer focus and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, repairs, and service a variety of systems and equipment including security, fire alarm & life safety.
• Provide technical installation support and training to customers and colleagues.
• Interpret manuals and wiring diagrams; utilize test instruments and hand tools.
• Take ownership of onsite projects with safety, quality and performance.
• Collaborate with Project Lead and internal teams to ensure success.
